SWISS-MATIC EXPANDS SWISS SCREW MACHINING OPERATIONS
The company has expanded it operations to include new Eurotech QuattroFlex 710 turn/mill center and an AutoBar 400 automatic loader. This system consolidates machining operations previously done on up to four different machines, thereby eliminating part handling between machines and reducing machine setup to only one machine with a simple and fast setup operation. The seven axis simultaneous machining operations include contouring, milling of flats, hexes and squares and rigid tapping to form spools, sleeves, pistons and valve assemblies for use in automobiles, appliances and medical equipment. Northwest Swiss-Matic is an employee-owned, 125 person operation with more than 30 years experience. As a full-service company, it is equipped with latest CNC vertical machining centers, CNC turning equipment, Escomatic wire machines CNC Swiss and Multiple Spindle screw machines.
