Summary / General Description:
Completes various tasks to support all production operations such as material handling, packaging, cleaning
Reports to: Operations Manager
Essential Duties / Responsibilities:
Load and unload trucks, checking product for damage
Receive raw material, checking BOM accuracy
Inspect incoming raw material using Micrometers and other measuring tools (we will train).
Use production saw to slug bar stock
Deliver material to work areas
Process metal chips to remove oil
Keep material separate for recycling
Perform minor preventative maintenance
Maintain a clean and safe working environment
Perform plant wide cleaning duties
· May remove snow by using hand and power tools provided.
· May work in production as required.
Other duties as assigned
Educational Level:
· High School Diploma / or Equivalent
Previous Experience:
Some production experience, material handling, inventory control, fork truck and basic computer skills is a plus.
We will train the right person.
Physical Demands:
Must be able to lift 40 lbs. and be on feet for entire shift
